These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Khebretk ("we", "us", "our") covering everything you do on the Khebretk marketplace — browsing it, buying on it, and selling on it. They apply to buyers and sellers alike, and the sections that concern only sellers say so. By signing in, completing a purchase, or activating a store, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you do not accept them, do not use Khebretk.
1. What Khebretk Is
Khebretk is a marketplace. Sellers use it to publish digital products — downloadable files, online courses, and bookable consulting sessions — and buyers use it to find and pay for them. Each seller runs their own storefront at their own address on our domain, sets their own prices, and is responsible for what they publish and for what a buyer receives. Khebretk hosts the storefront, takes the payment, delivers the access, and pays the seller their share. We are not the author, publisher, or provider of a seller's product, and we do not review every listing before it goes live.
2. Accepting These Terms
You accept these Terms by signing in to Khebretk, by completing a purchase, or by ticking the acceptance box when you activate a store. Sellers accept a dated version of these Terms; the version you accepted is recorded against your account and governs your sales until you are notified of a new one. We may change these Terms as described in Section 23.
3. Definitions
"Seller" means an account that has activated a store and lists products. "Buyer" means an account that pays for a product. "Product" means any file, course, or consulting session listed on the marketplace. "Storefront" means a seller's public page and the product pages under it. "Order" means a completed, paid purchase. "Platform" means Khebretk's websites, storefronts, dashboards, and related services.
4. Who Can Use Khebretk
You must be at least 16 to hold an account and buy on Khebretk. You must be at least 18 to sell, because selling requires a payout account in your own name and the capacity to enter a binding commercial agreement. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you confirm that a parent or guardian has read these Terms with you. You must not be barred from receiving our services under Egyptian law or the law of your country of residence.
5. Your Account
Accounts are created through Google sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your Google account secure and for everything done through your Khebretk account. One person, one account — accounts may not be sold, rented, shared, or transferred. Keep your name, email address, and contact number accurate; we use them to deliver what you buy and to reach you about a payment. Tell us at [email protected] immediately if you believe someone else has access to your account.
6. Buying on Khebretk
When your payment is confirmed, your order is complete and access is delivered straight away: files become downloadable from your library, courses open in your account, and consulting sessions are booked into the slot you chose. Prices are shown and charged in Egyptian pounds. Your contract for the product itself is with the seller; Khebretk collects the payment and delivers the access on their behalf. Keep the order reference — it is what any question about a payment or a refund is traced by.
7. What You May Do With What You Buy
What you buy is licensed to you personally, not sold. Unless the seller's listing says otherwise in writing, you may use a product for your own personal study or work, and you may not republish it, resell it, share your account or a download link, upload it elsewhere, or use it to train a model or build a competing product. Access is tied to your account: sharing credentials to spread one purchase across several people is a breach of these Terms and may end the access of everyone involved.
8. Selling on Khebretk
Activating a store means picking a public address, giving a contact number buyers can reach you on, and accepting these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund Policy. Your address is a public URL that people will bookmark and share; you can change it, but not more than once every 30 days, and your previous addresses stay reserved to you so that nobody can take over a name your buyers still trust. You are responsible for your storefront: what it says, what it sells, what it promises, and answering the buyers who paid you.
9. Your Content Stays Yours
You keep full ownership of everything you upload. By publishing on Khebretk you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, stream, display, and deliver that content to the buyers who pay for it, and to use titles, thumbnails, and short excerpts when promoting your storefront or the marketplace. That licence exists only so that we can run the service, and it ends when you remove the content — except that buyers who already paid keep the access they paid for. You confirm that you hold every right needed in what you publish and that it infringes nobody's copyright, trademark, or privacy.
10. What You May Not Publish or Do
You may not list, upload, or use Khebretk for: material you do not hold the rights to; content that is unlawful, hateful, defamatory, or sexual; exam papers, answer keys, or anything designed to help someone cheat; medical, legal, or financial advice presented as professional advice you are not qualified to give; listings that misrepresent what the buyer will receive; empty, placeholder, or duplicate listings used to manipulate search or ratings; payment routes that take buyers off the platform to avoid commission; scraping, automated access, reverse engineering, or attempts to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform; or any use that puts us or our payment providers in breach of their own rules.
11. Prices and Discounts
Sellers set their own prices and may change them at any time; a change never affects an order that has already been paid for. All prices are charged in Egyptian pounds. Sellers may run discounts and coupon campaigns — commission is calculated on the amount the buyer actually paid, not on the list price. Prices shown to buyers include any tax we are required to add at checkout; any other tax obligation is the seller's.
12. Commission
Khebretk takes a commission on every sale. The rate that applies to you is the one shown on your plan in your seller dashboard at the moment of the sale, and it is recorded on each order alongside the gross amount and your net share, so that every sale can be reconciled line by line. Payment-processing fees charged by our payment provider are shown on each transaction. There is no listing fee and no monthly fee for selling.
13. Balances and Payouts
Your share of a sale lands in your pending balance and clears to your available balance 7 days after the order — that is the window in which a payment can still be reversed by the buyer's bank, and paying out sooner would mean asking you to return money you had already spent. Available balance is paid to the InstaPay or Vodafone Cash account you registered, which must be in your own name; we do not pay out to third parties. Payout requests are processed on the schedule shown in your dashboard, and any transfer fee is shown before you confirm. If a refund or a payment reversal is confirmed after a payout, the amount is offset against your future earnings.
14. Taxes
You are responsible for declaring and paying any tax due on what you earn through Khebretk. Where Egyptian law requires us to withhold tax from a payout, we will do so and give you the documentation for it, and we may ask for a tax identification number before processing payouts.
15. Consulting Sessions
A consulting session is a booked appointment for a specific time. Sellers publish only the slots they can actually attend and are expected to be there; buyers are expected to arrive on time and are not owed extra time for arriving late. If a seller cancels a booked session, the buyer may choose a free reschedule into any other open slot, or a refund under the Refund Policy. A buyer who does not attend a session they booked, without notice, has received that session for refund purposes. Sessions are advice and opinion, not a guaranteed outcome.
16. Support and Disputes
Ask the seller first about anything to do with the product itself — what it covers, how to use it, a file that will not open. Sellers publish a contact number for exactly this and are expected to answer reasonable questions from the people who paid them. Come to us at [email protected] for anything to do with payment, delivery, account access, a refund request, or a seller who is not responding. We may step in and decide a dispute between a buyer and a seller under these Terms and the Refund Policy, and our decision on the platform's own movements of money is final.
17. Our Intellectual Property
The Khebretk name, logo, branding, interface, designs, software, and everything else we built belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to use the platform for its intended purpose; no other right is granted, by implication or otherwise. Feedback and suggestions you send us may be used without any obligation to you.
18. Third-Party Services
Khebretk depends on third parties: Google for sign-in, Paymob for payment processing, and cloud hosting, email, and content-delivery providers. Sellers may also connect their own analytics and advertising tags to their storefront — Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Google Analytics, or Google Tag Manager — which means a visit to a storefront may be reported to that seller's own analytics account. Your use of any third-party service is also governed by that party's own terms and privacy policy, and we are not responsible for their availability or their actions except to the extent caused by our own negligence.
19. Suspension and Closing an Account
You may close your account at any time from settings or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate an account, hide a storefront, remove a listing, or freeze a balance where there is a breach of these Terms, a credible copyright or fraud complaint, a legal requirement, or a risk to other users or to our payment providers. We will tell you why and, where the problem is fixable, what would resolve it. If a seller's account ends, buyers who already paid keep their access, and any cleared balance is paid out normally. Sections that by their nature should survive — ownership, licences already granted to buyers, disclaimers, limits of liability, indemnity, and governing law — remain in effect.
20. Disclaimer
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind beyond those that cannot be excluded by law. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not verify sellers' qualifications, endorse their products, or guarantee that a product is accurate, complete, current, or fit for your purpose — that judgement is yours, and the listing, the preview, and the seller are what you should base it on.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Khebretk and its officers, employees, and partners are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunities, arising from the platform or from any product bought through it. Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount paid for that order; for any other claim it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or EGP 2,500. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
22. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Khebretk and its affiliates against any claim, loss, damage, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the platform in breach of these Terms, from anything you publish or sell on it, or from your breach of any law or third-party right.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the platform develops. We will change the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will give notice in the app or by email before they take effect — sellers receive at least 30 days' notice of a change to commission or payout terms. Continuing to use Khebretk after a change takes effect is acceptance of it; if you do not accept it, stop using the platform and, if you sell, withdraw your cleared balance and close your store.
24. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The competent courts of Ismailia, Egypt have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the platform, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
